UK tax & bill payers could spend £1 trillion on wind and solar but paying for gas backup also would be unavoidable
The battery backup 'solution' is an exact cost burden on every UK household of £1600 every year FOREVER😭
Even after forking out £1,000,000,000,000, there will still be days & periods like this when dysfunctional wind & solar will only meet half of demand. Intermittent wind & solar will still need the same ‘shadow’, inefficient, costly, gas-fired infrastructure of backup plant:
